Renewable Heat Incentive

The Renewable Heat Incentive scheme (RHI) commenced in November 2011 and makes payments to the owners of renewable heating systems once an application has been approved

The Renewable Heat Incentive scheme (RHI) commenced in November 2011 and makes payments to the owners of renewable heating systems once an application has been approved. The scheme includes heating systems operating with biomass fuel, heat pumps, anaerobic digestion plant producing heat and combined heat and power units producing renewable heat.

The scheme is heavily regulated and independent advice should be sought prior to installing a renewable heating system as not all schemes will be compliant. Our renewable heat incentive service can help you ensure compliance and avoid a costly mistake.
