There are basically three heat pump options:-
o Ground sourced heat pumps (GSHP)
o Air sourced heat pumps (ASHP)
o Water sourced heat pumps (WSHP)
The above types of heat pump represent some of the most efficient options to consider when replacing a boiler. Most modern boilers operate at around 90% efficiency whereas heat pumps operate at efficiencies in excess of 300%. This substantially reduces the amount of energy and fuel used and significantly reduces carbon emissions from the heating system.

Heat pumps can be installed in both new and existing properties dependent upon site conditions. Clean Energy Consultancy provides an independent feasibility study for clients looking to install a heat pump system. This study determines the technical and financial viability of the heat pump and the heating system for the site and also informs the client of the annual carbon and financial savings. The client is therefore able to make an informed judgement based upon independent advice.
